About Ben Peterson

Ben is an Alaskan comedian and a founding member of Rubber Ptarmigan. In the summer he setnets for salmon, and in the winter he makes ice cream. Born with impeccable timing, he started performing comedy shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then he has appeared in festivals across the country such as the North Carolina Comedy Festival, the Vermont Comedy Festival, Mountain Fresh, and SF Sketchfest. He also produces numerous shows in his home state and helps run the Alaska B4UDie Comedy Festival. Some of the very cool headliners Ben has worked with include the Sklar Brothers, Lisa Alvarado, and Sam Tallent. In 2023, he traveled with SNL alumnus Brooks Wheelan on a two-week tour of Alaska and hosted the taping of Wheelan's special Alive in Alaska. Ben dreams of being fired from his jobs so he can pursue comedy full-time.
